My name is Alex French. I am from Jackson Hole, Wyoming. I am in my freshman year at Syracuse University in upstate New York where I am studying Public Relations in the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications. I am goal-driven with a passion for getting out and enjoying life to the fullest. I achieve this by creating relationships with others through genuine time spent together. My biggest goal in life is to experience every opportunity and get the most out of them.

Shooting Star Jackson Hole
Outside Services (Summer 2022, 2023)
Organized logistics for 50-200 tee times per day by cleaning carts and clubs. I also worked on the driving range as well as on-course duties such as restocking snack shacks and taking food orders all to create an experience to remember for members and guests.
Worked with a team of about 30 employees ranging in ages from 15-50 to maintain a reputation of organization and preparedness to avoid any wait time for members.
Created an environment of fun while maintaining professionalism with the goal of creating a bond with members.
Camp Deerwood
Counselor (Summer 2023, 2024)
Watched out for the safety and well-being of kids aged 8-15 at a 4 week sleepaway camp while creating a fun environment that brought kids joy and taught them life lessons.
Taught many different activities including water skiing, canoeing, kayaking, and campcraft (building fires, setting up tents, surviving in the wild). All with the goal of having boys meet lifelong friends through activities and tasks.
Set up camp by painting buildings, nailing down tennis courts, setting up docks and boats, and other random tasks assigned on any given day.
Led a 3 night and a 4 night overnight canoe trip along rivers and lakes, cooking meals, reading rapids, and being lifeguard for 10 kids in the New England wilderness

Helped start the club, was the vice president and became social media manager
Organized fly-tying events, fishing trips for 20 members with the goal of teaching them how to fly-fish while getting out of the classroom to perfect the craft.
